From an idea on paper to solutions ready to create impact — journey of MInT-athon 2025
On the day of the final showcase, we took a moment to look back at everything built together through this initiative.
What started with 270+ innovative ideas from students, industry professionals, and startups across India evolved into months of brainstorming, mentoring, prototyping, refining, and building solutions focused on AI for Safe and Sustainable Mobility.
Through multiple evaluation rounds, expert mentorship, and continuous collaboration, teams transformed their ideas into impactful prototypes addressing real-world mobility challenges — from road safety and accessibility to EV solutions, traffic management, and sustainable transportation.
MInT-athon was never just about a competition. It was about learning, collaboration, innovation, and turning possibilities into action. 🌱
A heartfelt thank you to all our mentors, jury members, partners, and participants who contributed their time, expertise, and passion throughout this initiative.
👏 Special thanks to Bosch India Foundation and AI CoE for Sustainable Cities (Airawat) – AI Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Cities for supporting MInT-athon and empowering innovators in this journey.
At The MInT Collaborative, IIT Madras, we continue working towards bringing together academia, industry, startups, and government stakeholders to shape future-ready mobility solutions.
This video captures not just milestones, but the energy, dedication, teamwork, and people behind MInT-athon. 💫
The journey concluded with the final showcase during the MInT Mobility Summit 2026 on 8th July, where teams presented their solutions to leaders, experts, and the wider mobility ecosystem.
